Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji: The Tenth Sikh Guru
Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji (1666–1708) was the tenth Sikh Guru, a visionary spiritual leader, poet, and philosopher-warrior who profoundly shaped the Sikh faith. He is most revered for the creation of the Khalsa in 1699, a community of "Saint-Soldiers" dedicated to the principles of equality, justice, and the protection of the oppressed. Through his life of immense sacrifice, he taught that true spirituality must be paired with the courage to stand against tyranny. Before his Jyoti Jot, he declared the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as the eternal Living Guru, ensuring that the Divine Word would forever guide the Sikh community. His legacy of "Recognizing the whole human race as one" remains the heartbeat of our Gurdwara’s mission.
